Brandywine is led by Arya Afrakhteh, a degreed electrical engineer from the University of Florida in Gainesville.  Over 20 years before founding Brandywine, Arya was employed as a consulting engineer on a number of large commercial and industrial projects including government facilities, hospitals, schools, laboratories, and office buildings.  Notably, he worked on NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center's communications building and a 100,000 square foot Lockheed Martin facility.  He then continued his career with Exelon Nuclear in Pennsylvania, successfully managing gas and electric construction projects exceeding twenty five million dollars.  Collectively, these experiences translated into superior design and project management capabilities.
